An alternative to overconsumption

We live in a culture of consumerism, where we constantly ‘buy, buy, buy’ without putting much value on what we own. This culture of consumerism is meaningless and our happiness seems to be determined by the constant purchase of products and services.

Not Just Stuff is an alternative that serves as a new reference point by presenting new criteria that help create valuable relationships while extending product life.

The manifesto

In an era of endless consumerism, we need to pause to consider the impact of our behaviour and look for alternatives. By taking emotional and personal attachment, sustainable impact and social impact as our guide, we can set a new standard for consumption. This means consciously choosing products that are sustainably produced and contribute to the community and really add something to our lives. As a result, we keep products longer and it contributes to a culture of more sustainable consumption.

Meaningful consumption is an alternative that serves as a new reference point for a different kind of economy. An alternative to current, overconsumption. Meaningful Consumption: Not just stuff.

Not Just Stuff: Bloom

Bloom stands as a metaphor for a different economy where building sustainable and meaningful relationships between consumers and their possessions is central. Bloom proposes a new standard in which consumers are actively involved in the flowerpot production process, build a personal and emotional connection, offer transparency in every step of the chain and create a network of shared value and experiences by connecting communities.

Meaningful consumption made tangible, discover all about Bloom.
